"As far as I know, the writer’s workshop is not only located on the second floor in Dinand, it is located all over campus—in my room, at Kimball, in Crossroads, everywhere! The Writer’s Workshop is in all places and it is within every one of us, and that’s why I like tutoring. Tutoring is not so just about circling the tedious grammatical errors in red ink, it’s about finding the “juiciness” of a student’s ideas and working on ways to squeeze that juice out of the brilliant minds of Holy Cross students through a collaborative learning process, and in turn LEARN from them. Tutoring is about helping others and helping yourself in the process, and that’s what I love about it."
