Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at the College of the Holy Cross, I studied for my Ph.D., M.Phil., and M.A. in the Philosophy Department at Columbia University, and for my Laurea in the Philosophy Department at the Università degli Studi di Firenze in Florence, Italy.

My main research areas are Ontology and Metaphysics, Philosophy of Biology, and the Philosophy of Food. The areas of competence include Early Modern Philosophy, Philosophy of Science, Epistemology, Logic, Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Action, and Aesthetics.
