Background and Research Interests 

My doctoral and postdoctoral training is in Clinical Psychology, Aging, and Clinical Pharmacology. My research interests focus on the diagnosis and treatment of psychopathology in later life.  Specifically, I focus on the grief, depression, and psychological responses to uncontrollable stress in later life.  Since coming to Holy Cross, I have studied religious involvement and mental health in later life (brief cv).
