How to Submit an Acrostic Poem

PLEASE NOTE: UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, I CAN NOT ACCEPT NEW SUBMISSIONS TO THE SITE. IF YOU HAVE SUBMITTED A POEM THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS, I HOPE TO POST YOUR POEM IN THE NEXT MONTH. MY APOLOGIES FOR THE DELAY. MAY 19, 2010.

I am happy to help you share your acrostic poems by posting them on my site. For reasons of privacy, however, please do not submit name acrostics that include your last name.

Children: If you are in elementary or middle school, send your acrostic poem to me in an email. In addition to your acrostic, you may include your first name, your age, and the community in which you live, and I will post this information along with your poem. To e-mail me, click here.

Teachers: If you can create and publish your own page, please send me the web address, and I will create a link on my site to your page. If you can not create your own page, you may send me your children's poems in an e-mail or as an attachment to an e-mail. If you create an attachment, write your poems in a text format: e.g., Word or plain text. Do not send Powerpoint slides or pages with visual imagery. I will create a page for you, though this may take some time. Feel free to e-mail me if you have questions about this process.
