 About This Page

Welcome to my Homepage. This page is meant to let students and visitors review what my core offerings have looked like in recent years.  A syllabus listed under Courses reflects the most recent semester in which that course was offered.  If the dates below are current, that means I am offering the course "now."

Under the category web resources attached to each course, visitors will find links to sites which I have found particularly relevant to class work.  New sites are constantly opening, however, and I would appreciate being directed to your own favorites. Keep me updated via e-mail, please!

Those who would like to know more about me, click on vita. You may consult my professional resume, but the biographical statement, prepared especially for my public lecture series, may serve as a better introduction. Warning: the photo is a bit out of date.

I routinely offer lectures in various New England libraries.  These are always free and open to the public.   Usually, I am introducing a Shakespearean play to a general audience, but I sometimes lecture on other forms of popular literature as well.  Check out the site and see if I will soon be "appearing in a library near you."

If you would like to reach me electronically, just use the menu to the left, go "home" and click on that scrolling E.

Best wishes,

Helen M. Whall
