| Research in the Farrell Group is a combination of organic and inorganic chemistry. We are primarily interested in the roles metals play in biology and in novel materials. We use organic chemistry to make new molecules to attach to metal centers of interest. These new organic molecules modulate the chemical properties of the metals they are bound to.
