What is Women's Studies?
As the academic arm of the Women's Movement, Women's Studies strives to analyze and understand both the diversity of women's experience and the history of women's oppression. Although Women's Studies itself is an interdisciplinary field with its own methodology and goals, feminist scholars exist in all disciplines; their work has increasingly transformed the ways in which we think about human experience and social change. .
