NOTE: Upper case indicates introduction of cause (23 March of 2000) in conjunction with the martyrs of the Diocese of Pelplin. This list may not include some of those who perished as victims of the war in Russia.  For example, Heribert Schulz (1908-1945) perished in Smolensk on his way to the Urals and is listed (p. 22) as a martyr in the 1999 edition of German martyrs of the 20th century by Helmut Moll but is not listed here.
