Welcome to my website

designed to provide an interdisciplinary plan to explore, in science and language arts, the representation of the "naga": the snake, primarily the king cobra type of snake.

This is for a middle school population, with particular attention to students with special needs, and links to explore other elements of Buddhism, Hinduism, and Himalayan cultures and religions.

Most of these page links are student and teacher friendly.

This site was created by Isara Argent at the NEH Summer Institute "Cultures and Religions of the Himalayan Region," held at the College of the Holy Cross, Summer 2006
