From Asian Culture and Society to Native American Cultures and Societies

A 2 to 3 Class Period Review and Introduction

To show how this will link the 6th grade Asian curriculum to the 7th grade Native American curriculum.

  • To use the pages provided in class or the computer labs.
  • For the students to take the webpage and “spiffy up” the pages and create new pages that support the materials on the three Native American groups.
  • Use museum links from the webpage to compare and contrast Asian and Native American.
  • To integrate the theme of the 7th grade curriculum to the webpage. (See the curriculum.)
  • Use Aim 3 of the curriculum to explore geographic and economic conditions.
  • Apply the pillars in the curriculum to the three Native American groups.
  • Apply the course umbrella question.
  • To apply the course theme umbrella question.
