  • residences are composed of a front courtyard and a main building
  • two story courtyard provides storerooms, rooms for serfs
  • main building, three stories, from above resembles the Chinese character
  • central pat of the building is a patio
  • first floor-storing or renting
  • second floor contains a shrine, an assembly room, kitchen, some store rooms
  • third, living rooms of the owner and close servants
  • courtyards-green, close to nature
  • two stories with terraces on the north side of the top floor
