21b Throne of Mercy, east window, Holy Trinity Church Goodramgate, detail of Throne of Mercy.  God the Father (head reused from another window) holds the dead body of Christ and the dove of the Holy Spirit hovers between their two heads. This is the Christian Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three persons with one divine nature.  John Walker is seen at foot of the Trinity with scroll: Te Adoro et glorifico O Beata Trinitas  (I adore and glorify you, O Holy Trinity).  The inscription around window is also in Latin and reads: Have mercy on the soul of John Walker, Rector.  He caused this house and window to be made in the year 1470 in Thy honor, O King.
