Director of Community Relations
jon nikonchuk

Hey, everyone.  My name is Jon Niconchuk and I’ll be working this year as the Director of Community Relations for the SGA.  I’m a junior at HC with a double major in Chemistry and Spanish.  I’m also pre-med with the current goal of becoming an orthopedic surgeon someday.  Or maybe I’ll move to a beach somewhere and work as a kayak instructor, who knows.  At HC I also work as the treasurer of SPUD and I’ll be a leader on the October Manresa retreat.  Regardless of what some may think, Worcester has so much t o offer and I am excited to do my part in helping strengthen and deepen our relationship with both the city and immediate surrounding community.  At the end of the day, it is up to us as students to control the direction of our relationship with Worcester, so it really can become whatever we want it to.

Director of Programing
damon reynolds

Hi everyone, my name is Damon Reynolds, I'm a senior and I serve as the Director of Programming for SGA.  I organize all aspects of programming for the SGA and coordinate events such as the Battle of the Departments, the SGA Leadership Banquet, and Daffodil Days.  I have also served as Senator for my class, sat on the RSO committee, and RA'ed for Clark 1 during my sophomore year.  Despite my role for the good ol' Holy Cross SGA, most people on campus know me as the kid who beat boxes for Fools on the Hill!  The most rewarding experience I have had during my time as a Crusader was travelling to Virginia through the Holy Cross Appalachia Program and my one big goal for senior year is to go on the Spiritual Exercises.  Thanks for stopping by!

Director of SGA Services
Amanda Eleuteri

Amanda Eleuteri is the Director of SGA Services. SGA Services provides several different services to the campus community including, Crusader Movie Rental, Van Services, Airport Shuttles, Buses to Boston and Providence, Summer Storage and Meal of the Week. Amanda is a Religious Studies major living in the senior apartments. She is also involved in the Admissions office on campus. When Amanda is not running SGA Services she loves to watch the Red Sox and hate on the Yankees.

Director of Diversity
jerry dickinson

It is with great pleasure that I accept the Director of Diversity position for the 2007-2008 academic year. Social justice and diversity awareness have been of great interest to me during my time at Holy Cross.  I am a junior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  My strong relationship with the Office of Multi-Cultural Education will further enhance the process of engaging student organizations and programs in diversity and social justice initiatives. As a member of the “Hate: Not Here” Committee, MIX and a former BSU E-board member, I am fully aware of the strong social and cultural traditions carried out by multi-cultural student organizations. I am also a staff member for The Crusader. I write for the opinions section and most of my rhetoric is based around race, politics and society.

A history/religious studies major, her passions include the exploration of women’s issues, obscure religious artworks, and the West Wing. In her spare time Colleen can be found wasting away in Dinand or trying to get her posters to stay on the cinderblock walls of Lehy.

Director of Academic Conerns
Jimmy brennan

Jimmy has always been in the midst of an identity crisis; at age 12, he discovered that James Michael was his official first name, though his friends have always called him Jimmy or Jim; his mother calls him one or all of his six siblings’ names (usually excluding his own); his father calls James James Morrison Morrison Weatherby George Dupree; his teachers called him James; and now, after eight months in Russia, he sometimes goes by Misha. Don’ t worry, he responds to all of them. Jimmy, as he is known (affectionately) on the SGA Cabinet, is a senior Political Science/Russian double major from North Smithfield, Rhode Island, and is currently working on a departmental honors thesis. He is strangely obsessed with Russia and serves as President of the Russian Club, anxiously awaiting the day Anna Karenina walks into his life. In addition to being active with campus ministry through the Chaplains’ Office, he is also a tutor at the Writer’s Workshop. In his free time, Jimmy likes to read, write and watch soulful movies while eating take-out Chinese food (especially Moo Goo Gai Pan). And don’t ask him about his post-graduation plans; he becomes somewhat inarticulate and his hands get clammy. Though it’s his first year working for SGA, Jimmy is committed to establishing stronger ties between the Faculty and the Student Body, and to emphasizing the important connection between living and learning at Holy Cross. And this identity he’s sure about.
