SGA Co-Chairs

David Lipke '08 and Christina Ventresca '08

 

Dave Lipke is a senior Political Science major and an Asian Studies concentrator.  Previous SGA experience ranges from chairing the Senate Budget Committee, the Reserve Board, and the Senate Executive Appointments Committee, to sitting on the Senate Recognized Student Organization Committee.  Dave was also a fall Gateways Orientation Leader in the 2005.  At Holy Cross Dave is a member of the Hanify-Howland Memorial Lecture Committee, a member of the club Ski Team, and a former member of the men’s crew team.  This past summer Dave was an intern at the U.S. Department of State for the Political-Military Affairs Bureau.  He is also an alumnus of the Holy Cross Washington D.C. Semester Program where he worked for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. 

 

Christina is a senior English major, Deaf Studies concentrator from Hingham, MA. As a freshman, she served as Programming Intern and as a member of the First Year Experience Committee. As a sophomore, she took on the role of Programming Director while retaining her position on the First Year Experience Committee. She spent her junior year studying abroad at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. She is very excited about teaming up with Dave to lead this year's SGA. Aside from SGA, Christina is a tour guide, a contributing writer for "The Advocate", President of the English Honors society and a Big Sister in the Big Brother/Big Sister Program.
