The Director of
Diversity is ultimately responsible
for all SGA initiatives in the area of diversity
and multicultural affairs. The Director
of Diversity acts as the student representative
on the Diversity Task Force, serves as the
SGA liaison to the Office of Multicultural
Education, and works with the Odyssey Program.
He/She serves as the link between SGA and
the Multicultural Student Organizations,
as well as works to ensure that issues of
diversity, multiculturalism, gender, sexuality,
economic status, and diversity of opinions
are being addressed on campus. The Director
of Diversity also works with the Director
of Programming to coordinate Unity Week.
In addition, the Director of Diversity works
towards creating a safe and supportive Holy
Cross.

 Currently working on improving the multicultural education and awareness for students at Holy Cross. No Place for Hate campaign will hopefully allow students a opportunity to see the HC community unite for one goal. Previous year, the Co-Chair of the Black Student Union and I also play Women's Ice Hockey.
The previous Directors of Diversity have
been extremely successful. In 2002 - 2003,
Katie Li '05 was an important element in
making Unity Week the annual event it has
become today. In 2003 - 2004, Jon Lopez
'04 was the model liason to the MSO's, taking
on and addressing all their concerns. And
prior to her role as Co-Chair, Nicole Mortorano
'04 served as the Director of Diversity
as well.
