- "Hate: Not Here" Kickoff Event
Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 4pm Rehm Library (Smith Hall)
The "Hate: Not Here" Campaign is structured to provide more programming structured around the discussion and education of multicultural issues and diversity awareness. The mission is to create a healthy, positive discourse for members of the Holy Cross Comunity to discuss the issues of multiculturalism and diversity.
At the Kickoff for this new initiative Rev. Michael C. McFarland, the College President, Mayor Timothy Murray, Mayor of the City of Worcester and Congressman James P. McGovern, the Massachusetts 3rd District Congressman will all be speaking at the event.
- SGA Tax Assistance
Accounting students from the VITA Practicum program will be available to help students prepare their tax returns. They will be at the lobby table with computers and printers to submit students’ tax returns via E-File. Students wishing to use this service should bring all W-2 forms for 2005, their social security card, and copies of last years’ return and state forms if they have them.
