2005 - 2006 Director of Gender Concerns: Caitlin Duignan
As a Women’s and Gender Studies Concentrator with a major in Anthropology, Caitlin wished to continue her passion for education and awareness of gender issues through her SGA position. Caitlin is working on such initiatives as the increased lighting and blue light stations on campus, creating new outlets for education about sexual assault at Holy Cross, and exploring different methods of card swipe access within the Residence Halls. Caitlin is also working closely with the Women’s Forum and the Women’s and Gender Studies Department to increase communication between students, SGA, faculty, and administrators. Outside of her involvement with SGA, Caitlin is the Coxswain for the Women’s Varsity Rowing Team, a member of the Community Standards Board and serves as a Judicial Advisor. Caitlin is very excited about the challenges of her position, and is excited to further dialogue about gender relations, women’s issues, and sexual assault.
