Judicial Branch
The Judicial Branch consists of the Election Committee and the Judicial Council, which hears the cases which are brought before it by the student body or a recognized student organization.

Erin Reilly '15, Chair of the Judicial Council

My name is Erin Reilly and I am from Grafton, MA. I am a senior studying history and peace and conflict studies. As chair of the SGA Judicial Committee, I and the other members serve as the official interpreters of the SGA Constitution and Bylaws as well as preside over the Parking Ticket Appeals Board and the Elections Committee. I serve as co-chair of the history department Student Advisory Council, Vice President of Phi Alpha Theta National History Honors Society, participate in HC Goes Unified, and single-handedly consume the entire supply of Odwalla on campus. 

Elizabeth Erickson '15

I am a senior psychology major from Barrington Rhode Island. I am on J Council and am the assistant chair of elections. On campus I'm a tour guide in the Admissions office and I help with Holy Cross Phonathon. In addition to that, I tutor at the Nativity School of Worcester. I studied abroad in Cork, Ireland during the fall semester of my junior year and had an incredible experience! I'm looking to go into the field of public health after graduation in the spring! 

Jonathan Formichella '15

 My name is Jonathan Formichella and I am a senior Political Science and History double major.   This is my third year serving on the SGA Judicial Council.  I am co-captain on the college's Mock Trial Team and a member of the Moot Court Team and Mediation Team.  I look forward to continuing my term on the Judicial Council and representing the student body.

I am a sophomore from Old Saybrook, CT and majoring in mathematics with an architectural studies minor. I am coxswain on the Women’s Varsity Rowing Team and a member of SPUD. During the summer I work as a deckhand at a marina and on various charter yachts. My favorite foods are corn dogs and Annie’s white shell mac and cheese. In my free time I love to draw and watch reruns of Gilmore Girls. 

Cassy Deng '16

Hi Everyone! I'm Cassy Deng and I'm from the great state of Minnesota. I am a junior Accounting major and serve on SGA's Judicial Council. Besides being involved in SGA, I am also a member of the Women's Tennis Team, work as a Marketing Intern in Athletics Department, and am a part of Holy Cross' Community Standards Board. When I'm not hearing cases as a part of J-Council, I enjoy traveling, summertime activities, and eating Chipotle. I am also an avid fan of pugs and the Minnesota Twins. 

Bridey McDevitt '17

Hello! My name is Bridey and I am from Needham, MA. I am a sophomore studying Political Science and History and hope to become a criminal defense attorney after college. As a member of the Judicial Council I understand the importance of hearing students and advocating for their interests. I am also the co-chair of the College Republicans. In my free time, I love reading first lady autobiographies and re-watching The Office.
