There are some upcoming events being offered by the college - a visitor from the Dartmouth Medical School will be on campus and there is a local conference for prehealth students. For more information about both of these events, see the upcoming events page.

**Information about e-board positions for the 2008 - 2009 academic year will be posted by early next week. An e-mail will also be sent out directing you to the website for more information.

Our next meeting is Tuesday, March 18th. This meeting is mandatory for all AMSA members, as it will likely be the last general meeting of the academic year. Important information about an upcoming event and HC Cares day will be addressed, as well as information about e-board positions for next year. Well it's been quite a while, but we've decided to bring back the website, with the hopes of making it a usefull tool for all the HC AMSA members. We'll be posting events and any other important information on the site, on a regular basis. Explore the site, check back often, and e-mail us with any questions, comments and concerns.

Fudge with Futterman - Tuesday, February 19, 2008

-Stop by Beaven 125 at 6:30pm to visit with Prof. Futterman and the other members of the pre-med committee. This is a relaxed environment designed for you to have your questions answered about the pre-med program, the medical school application process, what you can being doing now to prepare for the next few years, and any other questions you may have. So come by on Tuesday night for some conversation and deserts!

We updated the officer list on the contacts page. The list is now complete and has a list of all the officers in the organization. If you have any questions feel free to contact any one of us. The next general membership meeting of the American Medical Student Association will take place on Tuesday, April 19 at 7:00 PM in Hogan 519. Elections for the 2005-2006 academic year will take place at this time. For more information on how to become a member of the AMSA executive board please follow the link to get involved.

 

On Tuesday, April 26 AMSA is pleased to sponsor "Fudge With Futterman". This event gives you the opportunity to meet and speak with Dr. Andrew Futterman, Premedical Advisor at the College of the Holy Cross. Members of the Holy Cross Premedical committee will also be in attendance to answer any questions you may have about the medical school application process. Please RSVP to Mary Geehern by Wednesday, April 20th if you would like to attend!
