Becoming an AMSA Member

 

There are two ways to become an AMSA member. The first way is via the online application. This is the method that we recommend. Your online application is processed in roughly one week The written application takes 3 to 4 weeks to be processed.

 

Applying Online:

  • There are different membership options listed on the national AMSA web page. Members of HC AMSA will need to obtain the Premedical Sustaining Membership.

 

  • The cost of AMSA membership varies depending on the desired duration of your membership. 1 Year of membership is $30, 2 years is $50, $60 for 3 years, and $70 for all 4 years. Any financial questions or concerns can be directed to Treasurers Andrew Moczula or Greg Leslie .

 

  • The online application is available here. Once you have been accepted, AMSA will e-mail your member identification number to you. Your identification card and benefits package will follow via standard mail.

 

  • Once you have received your Member Identification Number, please e-mail it to Alison Casserly and your HC AMSA membership will be finalized.
