The Cross and Scroll committee is the longest running committee on CAB. Cross and Scroll is in charge of bringing speakers to campus. Previous speakers have included heroes of 9/11, former members of the CIA, noted music historian Barry Drake, and famed mountain climbers and adventurers. Cross and Scroll also manages the Life 101 series, where Holy Cross professors speak on issues that they are passionate about. Already this year, Professor Cara Costance spoke about juggling her jobs as a professor and a mother and, Professor William Shea spoke of his journey from priesthood to parenthood! Also this year, C&S began a new series titled, “Speak!” where Holy Cross students can voice their own opinions.  If you would like to become involved in “Speak!” contact one of C&S’s co-chairs, Dan Phelan and Liz Norberg.
