Click on a player for more information. You won't get a hand, but click anyway. Some players don't have a bio yet.

Matt "Noah" Farina:
Height - 5'10"
Plays - Handler
Alum
The quietest of the captains who gets tons of respect from all the players. Also the artist who created our logo.

Kevin "Bruce" McLane:
Height - 6'0"
Plays - Mid/Deep
Junior
Joined last year as a Freshman. Plays hard and can jump, can be a very intimidating force.

Shane "LoFi" Lavin:
Senior
Gone for the 05-06 season, he and his headband are truely missed.

Robert "Opie" Ryan:
Height - 5'11"
Plays - Handler
On Vacation
One of the strongest handlers on the team, Rob is willing to throw to pretty much any spot on the field. He also spends a good deal of time with the newer players working on the basics of throwing.

Cassidy "Bluto" Edwards:
Height - 6'0"
Plays - Mid
Junior
CAPTAIN
The fastest and most athletic on the team, Bluto's aditional ability to jump extremly high makes him a threat in any part of a game. His defensive ability is rivaled by very few.

Craig "Scrappy" Lowell:
Height - 5'7"
Plays - Mid
Alum
Scrappy gets his name from being scrappy. Able to get open and catch passes that should never have flown at all, Scrappy always picks up when the team gets into a rut. He is also a sports afficianado and has his own editorial in the newpaper.

Dan "Gopher" Portnoy:
Height - 6'1"
Plays - Handle/Deep
Alum
After servely injuring his shoulder in a layout accident over the summer, Dan is out for the fall season. He has taken to his coach/captain job very seriously and his guidance has allowed the team to improve dramatically. Watch out in the spring when he returns to the field.

Jack "Handy" Hanlon:
Height - 6'0"
Plays - Handle
Alum
With legs that can power him all day thanks to a high-school track career and throwing and field sense that comes from experience with Brooklyn Ultimate, Jack is a crucial pice of the team's starting 7.

Jack "Pikachu" Donahue:
Height - 5'8"
Plays - Mid
Senior
Pikachu is in China for the Spring '06 season!
The most lively and energetic fun loving player many of us have ever known, Jack never ability to lighten the mood never seems hindered by dissapointing times. Unfortunately, ROTC causes us to see Jack much less than we'd prefer.

Theresa "B-Knight" Neumann:
Height - 5'6"
Plays - Handle
Alum
Maureen "Mo Money/Problems" McKeon:
Height - 5'5"
Plays - Mid
Senior
Mo's name changes depending on her playing style. After a good catch or D, her name "money" yelled loudly from the sideline. If there is a drop or throw away, "problems" is clearly yelled instead. Mo returns from spending the Fall in Peru eager to jump back into the team.

Corey "LoCal" Evans:
Height - 5'9"
Plays - Mid/Handle
Junior
CAPTAIN
Writing your own profile sucks.

Julie "Swiss Miss" Barry
Height - 5'8"
Plays - Handle
Alum
A High School track runner, Swiss is fast and can run all day long and we've never seen her tired or out of breath. She spent her Junior year in Ireland and didn't play much, so she's still working off some rustyness. Look for her as a potential leader of a women's team during the Spring of 2006
Brian "Purple Coyote" Leonard:
Height - 5'11"
Junior
Another ex-track star, Brian has the ability to run for an eternity. Still a new player but a quick learner.

Peter "Wembley" Crowley:
Height: 5'11"
Plays - Mid/Handle
Junior
Joined the team as a freshman that hadn't played ultimate before but still could throw a backhand a very long distance perfectly straight. Wembley's less than orthodox throwing style somehow gives him incredible power. He is quickly becoming an important piece of the handling squad.

Kevin "Big Bird" McCarthy:
Height - 6'2"
Plays - Deep/Handle
Junior
CAPTAIN
Kevin's name comes from his height and ability to jump. He is also a great cutter, very quick, and one of the best throwers on the team.

Ben "Maximus" Crowe:
Height - 5'9"
Plays - Handler
Sophomore
Maximus progressed quickly throughout his Freshman year and has forged his place on the HC handler squad. HC Ultimate will look to him for further leadership and playmaking throughout 2006 through 2008.
This Play's Bio has not been created yet.
Sally "Crushes" Hile:
Height - 5'2"
Plays - Mid
Junior
She is crushes...

Nischal "Uber" Nadig:
Height - 5'6"
Plays - Mid
Sophomore
When Nischal runs, he runs fast. When Nischal wants to run, he runs really really really fast. And in proper Heys form, we misprounounce his real name as "Nee-Shal", so we've taken to just calling him Uber.
Greg "Rick Allen" Salvucci:
Height - 5'8"
Plays - Mid
Alum
A drummer with the school band who has strong wrists that propel his forehand at great speeds. Other commitments have removed him from play for the fall season.
Tom "Major Tom" LeComte:
Height - 6'3"
Plays - Deep
Junior
At 6'5'', Major Tom is the tallest member of the Purple Heys. A laid back guy who enjoys tossing a disc around, Major Tom has a strong backhand and already a decent read. Inexperience is the only thing holding Major Tom back at this point.

Steph "Change/Annoyances Landry:
Height - 5'5"
Plays - Mid
Sophomore
Change gets her name from a derivative of "Mo Money/Problems", she has become the writer of our newpaper articles. She is improving quickly and has a passion for ultimate.

Zachary "Mugs" Donahue:
Height - 6'3"
Plays - Deep
Sophomore
Bird came in as a freshman and skied everyone on the team. Muggs came in as a freshman and skied Bird. An ex-basketball player with developing throws, look for Mugs to be a strong deep threat as early as next spring.
Tim "Otter" O'Malley:
Height - 6'2"
Plays - Deep
Sophomore
Otter is tall, he can jump, and he makes the catches. Otter joins Major Tom and Mugs as the third and final member of the Holy Cross "Really Tall" Trio, although his determination (playing through a bleeding knee injury) may set him apart from the other two.
Mike "Zealous" Lombardi:
Height - 5'9"
Plays - We don't know
Sophomore
Zealous holds the dubious honor of being the first Heys' recruit from the class of '09. In true Purple Heys form, we reward his dedication with an increased amount of verbal harrassment. Zealous played some disc in high school, which gives him a good field sense, although we're still not sure how his forehand works.
Katelyn "K-Zone" Irwin:
Height - 5'7"
Plays - Mid
Sophomore
K-Zone has great catching ability and gains strength in her throws every day. She's a great player to be around on and off the field.
Collin "Commish" Powell:
Height - 5'11"
Plays - Mid
Sophomore
An awesome Texan with some of the most witty, original one liners period. He plays hard and is fun to play with or against.

John "Smalls" Singleton:
Height - 5'10"
Plays - Mid
Sophomore
Smalls is fast and has progressed by leaps and bounds since joining the team this year. While being pretty quiet, Smalls' argument skills are top notch, especially during heckling via e-mail.

Tim "Se7en" Kelly:
Height - 6'0"
Plays - Mid
Sophomore
Se7en's great play during Wildwood 2006 is a sign of things to come. Entering his second year playing, Se7en has solid throws and a great sense of the game. His intensity is rivaled by few.
