Here is a side view of Jessica, my former 1977 MGB.  This is after extensive restoration.  Actually, the only original sheet metal on the car is the panel in front of the windshield and the upper two thirds of the rear end.  The bonnet, boot lid, front fenders, door skins, lower rear quarters, rocker panels were all replaced.  We bought the car with 78,000 miles on it (it has over 152,000 now) and drove it with no problems for 12,000 miles the first summer we owned it.  I asked my wife if we could spend a little (I thought $1,000) to spiff it up.  She asked "Would $3,000 be enough?"  AWESOME.  $4,600 later (body work, paint done by a shop, complete interior done by me) it looked like this.  Another page shows the mahogany dash and interior work.
