Sport in Society. The home site of the Northeastern University Center for the Study of Sport in Society, whose mission is "to increase awareness of sport and its relation to society, and to develop programs that identify problems, offer solutions, and promote the benefits of sport."  Among the site's resources is the Center's annual Racial and Gender Report Card

Title IX:  25 Years of Progress.  A Department of Education report on the impact of Title IX 25 years after it was passed. 

The Casey Martin Case.  Provides links to articles published between December 1997 and March 1998 on the case of Casey Martin v. PGA Tour.

Women's Sports Foundation.  The official Web site of the leading women's sport organization, the foundation is very active in promoting and advancing the cause of women in sport.

National Collegiate Athletic Association.  Official Web site of the NCAA.  Provides information on the full range of its activities, including sports and championships, education programs, grants, rules and eligibility, news, and publications.

International Olympic Committee.  The official Web site of the IOC.  Contains a wealth of information about the games, including over 250 profiles of athletes, records from al the games, information on each sport, cultural symbols of Olympism, and the structures, mission, and financing of the Olympic Movement.
