How to use IGNATIUS
Library Catalog at Holy Cross

GETTING THERE

Click on the Telnet link above
- At the USERNAME: prompt type LIBRARY (and press your Enter key)
- Type 1 (and press your Enter key)
- Press Enter one more time - and you're in. MOVING AROUND Once in IGNATIUS use only your keyboard to navigate, your mouse will not work.
- The Cursor starts on FIND - just press Enter to open the pull-down search menu.
- Your arrow keys will let you scroll through the menu choices.
- To move back and forth among search screens use the BACKUP command.
- To Exit IGNATIUS - use your arrow keys to go up to FIND, over to QUIT and press Enter. SEARCHING Choose AUTHOR, TITLE, SUBJECT or KEYWORD searches from the FIND pull-down menu. 1. SUBJECT SEARCHING

Requires the use of Library of Congress subject headings.
