"Himalaya Summit" Current Issues of the Frontier

STEP 5:Creating A Multi-Media Presentation

There are many ways to create a slide show for this project.  If students are new to Power Point then they should complete a tutorial to learn the basics.  The framework for the slides can vary, however, below you will find a recommended group slide show format.  Usually students will record their voices to multi-media presentations, however, due to the nature of the discussion based presentation for the Himalaya Summit, it is recommended that students do not record voice narration and verbally speak along with their slide show in front of the whole class.
Another suggestion is to have students submit a thumbnail sketch of the design of their show, and turn in note cards for their narration before the day of the Summit.
