Lesson Four: Hinduism

Do Now:            Hinduism is a polytheistic religion, meaning that Hindus may believe in various
                           forms of god.  (Poly = many, thesism=belief in god or gods).  What other religions 
                           are polytheistic?

Aim:                   Identify the origins of Hinduism, describe three major differences between the
                          Aryan and Indus people, and explain the importance of ascetics in Hindu life.
