The website intends to help you with information regarding the Himalayan Region. The lesson plans for teachers are broad-based. Hopefully teachers from primary school, middle school and high school will find an idea for a lesson plan. Meanwhile, students may also wish to look at some of the links and images to gather information or ideas for a report on the region.

A fieldwork assignment is also included. I would like to acknowledge the late Prof. Jeff Hadden of the University of Virginia for the ideas on how to engage students via fieldwork.
