HIMALAYAN CULTURAL UNIT IDEAS FOR ELECTIVE CLASSES As a middle school elective teacher and team leader coordinating curriculum is challenging. Many times Social Studies and English teachers create units on Asian topics but trying to develop school wide units leave elective teachers with few ideas and resources. It is sometimes difficult to get the elective classes involved with cultural units. This site offers some ideas and links to help teachers produce lessons which will allow Art , P.E., Homeskills, and Foreign Language classes to be involved with a unit on the Himalayas.
