Everest Base Camp

Everest Base Camp is located above 16,000 feet, and is the base of operations on the Nepali side of the mountain. A stone stupa is in the middle of the camp, and prayer flags flutter in the wind from it. The camp is considered to be the highest garbage dump in the world.
