Activity Students individually research and gather Buddhist symbols and draw them in sketchbooks
Activity Students invent several symbols that represent personal values

Activity

Students refine four Buddhist symbols for a future project

Activity

Students make a linocut of one symbol, 6 square, and print multiple images of it in a mandala form on prayer flag muslin.

Alternatively, students choose from a collection of already made stamps, and using just one, create a single form from multiple stamping.
