Eastern Tibet
Late 18th to early 19th Century

-Rudrachakin is a celestial king who was the last king of Shambhala, a northern mythical kingdom.

-There are dark green hills and jeweled trees in the background.

-In the upper right is the deity of Kalachakra Tantra who represents Buddha's ability to rise above time. Also in this upper right cloud are Buddha and Vishvamata, his consort who is the All-Mother. There are also great adepts, dakinis, and soldiers.

-In the upper left cloud there is a map of Shambhala. There is a palace and a map of the mandala of Kalachakra.

-Next to Rudachakrin is a queen in a palace and a king riding in a horse drawn cart. Below this king are dakinis.

-Just below Rudachakrin a battle is depicted. This battle is between good and evil.
In this battle Rudachakrin leads a battle and his soldiers have weapons such as a cannon which shoots arrows, vajra thunderbolts, and bullets. The flag of Shambhala is a peacock feather around an image of snow capped mountains.

-Rudachakrin's success in this battle represents peace, compassion, and nonviolence in the world.
