Transcendentalists, Beats, Buddhists, and Hindus

This site is designed to provide resources for instructing high school level students in the Buddhist and Hindu influcences of American Literature. The focus is primarily on the Transcendentalist and Beat movements and centers on the writing of Henry David Thoreau and Jack Kerouac.
