Congratulations on your acceptance to Holy Cross! Please follow these instructions to accept your offer of admission. You can pay your non-refundable $500 deposit through our online Student Academic Records system (STAR). For those students unable to pay their deposit online, please mail the response form and a personal check to the admissions office.




Accepting the Offer of Admission

1. All students received an e-mail shortly after they applied asking them to register a Holy Cross account through our Student Academic Records system (STAR). A username was created for each student and was included in this e-mail. Each student then created a passphrase. This same username and passphrase combination, which was used to access your offer of acceptance online, is necessary to respond to your offer of admission.

2. Below is a link to sign into your STAR account. With the username we provided and the passphrase you created, please sign in and click on the link "Accept/Decline Admission." This will allow you to formally accept our offer of admission. The "Accept/Decline Admission" page will ask the student to create a billing address. You must create a billing address, save, and then confirm your billing address in order to accept our offer of admission. On the next page, please check the box consenting your billing person as an authorized user. Then save and proceed to the Acceptance Page.

Paying Your Deposit

After confirming your acceptance, you have the option to pay your deposit online. If you wish to pay your deposit fee online, you will be taken to a secure, third-party website. To access the payment screen, you will need the Student ID number printed on the bottom of your acceptance letter. Please note that a checking or savings account is required to make this payment; credit cards are not accepted.


Should you exit the system after confirming your acceptance but before paying your deposit, please sign in again to STAR with the same username and passphrase and click on "Accept/Decline Admission." You will see a link to "Pay Your Deposit" under the header of Step 1, next to the billing information.
