About Java Applications (presently only available for Macs)
Download Application Versions of the Simulation for Power Macs:
These applications require either Mac OS 8.x or an appropriate version of Mac MRJ (very easy to install). They come as bin-hexed self-extracting archives (FILE.sea.hqx). A plug-in included with most web browsers will probably convert the bin-hex to the executable SEA. You will know the conversion is complete when a file appears that only has the extension .sea. If your browser does not make the conversion, you should get a free or shareware utility that will do this for you (press here for links). Once the hqx file has been downloaded and decoded, simply double click on the .sea icon and the program will unstuff. Finally, consult the README file in the unstuffed folder and you're ready to go.
Press here to view a list of sites where you can find run-time Java interpreters required to run these applications on an older Power Macintosh, Windows32 machine, or Solaris. (Note: if you have MacOS 8.x you shouldn't need to do this, unless you are using a power book).
