Worcester WWII Homefront Project Students enrolled in "Public History & Memory" created some public history of their own. For their final project, students conducted oral histories with individuals who lived and/or worked in Worcester, Massachusetts during the Second World War. The students supplemented this interview material with research in archival resources to produce a web page about the Worcester homefront. Feel free to browse the student website, peruse the interview archive and learn about life in a central Massachusetts city in the early 1940s. |
