About Web Resources. The Web resources annotated here are intended to aid instructors and students who are using Approaches to Social Research as a textbook or reference. The resources are organized according to the chapter contents of the book, and were selected to complement its coverage. Some resources enhance the reader’s understanding of basic concepts introduced in the text; some extend the text’s coverage; others provide tools for conducting social research. Although we have carefully reviewed each resource, it was impossible to check the numerous links and hyperlinks that are embedded within various resources.
