Arrive in Athens; transfer to Hotel; check-in; rest; dinner at 7:30PM; After dinner, short orientation walk.

March 2 (Sunday)

ATHENS

8:30AM depart from Hotel by chartered bus for the ascent of the Acropolis; tour Acropolis; exit through the Agora visiting the Stoa of Attalos; lunch on your own in the Plaka; after late lunch, walk through Plaka back to Hotel; dinner in the Hotel; after dinner excursion to the top of Mount Lykabettos ; overnight in Hotel

MARATHON
SOUNION
ATHENS

9:00AM Athens National Museum; lunch in Hotel; late afternoon departure by chartered bus for Marathon, site of the famous battle between Greeksand Persians in 490 BC, and then on to Cape Sounion to see the sunset; dinner (at own expense) in area restaurant; return to Hotel for overnight; pack for trip to Delphi

THERMOPYLAE
DELPHI

8:30AM departure by chartered bus for Thermopylae , site of the famous battle between the Persians, under the leadership of Xerxes, and the Spartans, under king Leonidas, in 480 BC; after visiting the site, lunch on your own; continue to Delphi , arriving in late afternoon; visit the Museum at Delphi ; dinner in Hotel; after dinner free time in the town; pack for departure for Olympia

March 5 (Wednesday)
DELPHI
OLYMPIA

8:30AM departure from Hotel to the site of the sanctuary of Delphi; explore the ruins; then depart for Olympia, crossing the longest suspension bridge in the world to the Peloponnese; lunch on route; late afternoon arrival in Olympia; tour the Museum; dinner and overnight in Hotel; after dinner walking tour of surrounding area

OLYMPIA
NAUPLION

8:30AM departure from Hotel to the site of Olympia; after lunch, continue on to the little town of Nauplion for dinner and overnight; after dinner tour of Nauplion

March 7 (Friday)
MYCENAE
EPIDAUROS
ATHENS

8:30AM depart Nauplion to visit the town once ruled by Agamemnon, Mycenae; tour of the site; lunch on route; stop at ancient Epidauros; tour the great theater and museum; depart for Athens, arriving for dinner and overnight; after dinner pack for the trip back home

HOTEL COSTS: All participants are accommodated in double bedded rooms in outstanding hotels noted for their location, service and hospitality; each room has a private bath; continental breakfast and one full meal are included in these prices; participants pay separately for the beverages which they consume at the main meals;
EXCURSION COSTS: airport transfer costs (in Italy), all transport costs outside Rome, all train fees, boat fees for Capri, buses, taxis and baggage fees on Capri, bus tickets in Rome, all transport and museum entrance fees
