VISIT A MUSEUM
(Hinduism or Buddhism)

Our very own city is home to one of the largest collections of Asian Art at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (www.lacma.com). A significant and excellent method of learning about a religion is to look at its art.

I have visited the museum and have prepared small guided tours (depending on the religion you are covering) that will help you to view some phenomenal and educational pieces. Each tour is accompanied by a questionnaire that you are asked to fill out.

Additionally, on my recent trip to Europe, I found sketching artworks to be an excellent way to enjoy a piece. (Honestly, I only began doing it because many museums will not allow photographing the works of art.) You will be asked to sketch a religious painting or sculpture of your choosing.

REQUIREMENTS
-Visit LACMA
(include ticket stub with finished work)

-Follow guided tour and complete questionnaire

-Sketch a piece of religious art
