YOU BE THE JUDGE
(Buddhism)

This project is designed to have you personally explore the Tibetan situation. In the Werst, especially in popular culture, we are inundated with "Free Tibet." The Dalai Lama is held in high regard as one of today's world spiritual leaders.
Unfortunately, the information we have receivedconcerning the so-called "Chinese occupation of Tibet" has often been one-sided and selective.

Your task is to follow the links below and read the perspectives given. From these two opposing arguments and one that is less biased, you are to develop an essay that both summarizes the two perspectives as well as includes your perspective on the situation and a possible solution to the conflict.

REQUIREMENTS
-Read material found in links
-Compose a 300 word summative and argumentative essay on the question of Tibet

TOTAL: 50 points
