Teaching reading and mathematics through the use of geography

Welcome to the world of the Himalaya. This unit uses geography to teach students in grades 4-6 reading and mathematics. The lessons are differentiated for several levels to include students with special needs. They are designed for use with a class. For students reading at or above grade level, the students may use them independently.
