This webpage is designed for use by teachers and students who are interested in the conservation of wildlife resources in the Himalayan region. The status of various endangered species is identified, as well as measures currently in effect to preserve the habitat needed for species survival. A bibliography is provided for those who wish to do further study, as well as multiple links to websites discussing each species. Whenever possible, pictures of each endangered species are included.
