Timelines

Timelines are useful tools for organizing complex information. While they are never complete, and can encourage the false notion that history is a linear march of names and dates, they offer a way of managing important facts. They provide a framework upon which students and teachers can hang all the other really interesting stuff. Here are several good timelines.
