About Tricia: I am a teacher of the humanities and dance at the Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter High School (PVPA), located in South Hadley, Massachusetts. The history and english offerings are wonderfully diverse- from women's literature, introduction to Shakespeare, and Latin American Studies. A few years ago, I added to the collection of course offerings with an introductory course in philosophy, a subject of great interest to me. After my four weeks at Holy Cross, I feel much more prepared to offer more content in eastern philosphical thought, lessons that allow students to become familiar with Hinduism and Buddhism.
