The Autobiography of Tashi Tsering

Tashi Tsering's autobiography chronicles his life from a Tibetan village to being denounced as a "counterrevolutionary" during Mao's Cultural Revolution.

What are some of the issues he deals with? Consider the "big ideas" of reeducation, a lack of religious freedom, privacy issues/ trust, forced confessions and other "Orwellian" ideas. Read and take notes. Terms and concepts to focus on include (but are not limited to) reeducation, lack of religious freedom, lack of privacy and trust, forced confessions etc.
