People all over the world learn from stories. Some of the stories Americans learn from are stories about mythical people or legendary people. What is the difference between a myth and a legend?_________

One group of people who told stories was the Buddhists. They first started telling tales in 300 B.C.E. How long a go was that?____________________________ The tales were first told to children, then written down in a language called PALI. There are 547 of them.
