Tibet/Nepal Museum Project

Your local museum is planning on a new exhibit on the Himalayan region. The museum has asked you to submit a proposal for one of the rooms in the exhibit.

You are to choose either the Tibetan region or Nepal and design a room that will be included in the museum’s exhibit.

Your presentation must be done on tri-fold poster board and must include the following:

• A title for your exhibit
• A complete floor plan showing where artifacts will be located within the exhibit
• A list of historical, cultural, architectural pieces that will be included in your exhibit

In addition, you must provide the following:

• A brochure for potential museum visitors that provides a brief description of what they will find in your exhibit
• A visitor’s guide to your exhibit that shows the locations of the artifacts in your exhibit.
• The artifacts on the guide are to be numbered.
• On the back side of the brochure you are to include a brief description of each numbered artifact.

Your plan will be presented to the class/selection committee. The committee will choose one plan for each region based on relevance of information, creativity and design.
