Objectives:
Procedure:
Spend one class discussing the foundational concepts outline.
During the next class, assign each student one of the four foundational questions. Ask students to free write for 15-20 minutes on the questions and discuss their answers with the other students assigned their question before a full class discussion of all questions.
Assessment:
Ask students to write a 1-2 page response paper, giving students a choice between the four foundational questions.
