Day 3 - Toys and Games

Today students will learn about and play traditional American and Nepalese games.

There are many more game/toy choices available, see teacher resources for directions and more game/toy options.

More recently – Soccer – both countries

Procedure:

  1. Show photo gallery slides and tell students they are looking at a sample of the traditional games a typical eight year old child may play.
  2. After slides, record the games shown.
  3. Have multiple sets of all games and at stations demo how to play the games.
  4. Have students play the games for 30 minutes.
  5. Coordinate with PE to play outside games.
