During the reading point out the prayer flags, call them wish flags
Discuss the wish flags and what a wish is, talk about what they wish for
In small groups, make wish flags with the students
Cut a variety of different colored construction paper to about the size of an individual prayer flag
Call the students over in groups of three to create their flags using crayons, colored pencils or markers
After the students are done drawing what they wish for, they will then dictate to a teacher their wish, which the teacher will write on the flag |
